My name is Ariel "ReL" Kaitlien Schoonover. I'm 21 and live in Lincoln, CA.

I enjoy board games, video games, reading, drinking coffee, and eating sushi. My favorite game is Dominion, my favorite video game is Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, my favorite book is Number of the Beast, and my favorite reasonably-priced coffee comes from McDonalds.

I study languages, psychology, logic, rare genetic diseases, Nazis, and religion as hobbies, although I've taken only basic classes.

I am an atheist pagan Jew. I staunchly disbelieve in the Abrahamic god. I accept the possibility of a myriad variety of pagan gods, although I do not necessarily believe in them. I also support the Cthulhu cult (Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!).

I am a grammar nazi. I mentally correct your grammar while you are speaking and frequently have to resist the urge to comment with a list of corrections on posts. And sometimes I give in the urge.

Much of my political ideology has been gleaned from dissecting books by Robert Heinlein (science fiction). As such, I am a Libertarian. In the words of the Wiccans (although I most decidedly am not one), "An it harm none, do as ye will".

As mentioned, I love Robert Heinlein. I also love Douglas Adams, Piers Anthony, and HP Lovecraft, as well as Harry Potter and Animorphs. My favorite book ever is "The Number of the Beast", by Heinlein.

I have a passionate love affair with music, and a slight obsession with James Hetfield and Peter Heppner. I love heavy metal, synthpop, rap, rock, country, and techno. About the only thing I won't listen to is opera. My favorite bands are Metallica, Wolfsheim, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Lady Antebellum, Judas Priest, and Shiny Toy Guns.

Artists I've seen in concert: Linkin Park, No Doubt, Jurassic 5, Paul van Dyk, Fort Minor, All-American Rejects, Charlie Daniels, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Volbeat, Metallica, Machine Head, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, New Medicine, Halestorm, Stone Sour and Montgomery Gentry. There were a few others, but I don't remember all of them.

I'm considering becoming a doctor or a pharmacist, and I'm getting ready to attend school again next semester. I've been out for a while because of medical problems.

I have myasthenia gravis (ask me about it!), bipolar disorder, and Asperger's syndrome.

I'm passionate about LGBT issues, especially transgender issues, although I am personally none of the above (well, maybe a little bi, but I don't think I'd ever get in a relationship with a woman).
